Background: DMTP supplements important ministerial activities at the Division of Medical Technology Policy at the Ministry of Health. Each assessment is summarized for professional consideration within the Ministry of Health as part of the decision-making process. Aim: DMTP focuses on screening and assessing new and emerging medical technologies, especially for candidateship for inclusion in the National List of Health Services. In addition attention is given to new technologies for infrastructure and hospital use. Main Customers: policy makers within the Ministry of Health. Output: Each assessment is summarized for professional consideration within the Ministry of Health as part of the decision-making process.
